sabr | صبر brings together a recent body of work by Delhi-based artist Chetnaa, which includes her experiments with form, scale, and materiality. The artist's relationship with geometry and minimalism developed during her time at art school in Delhi, where the intersections and entanglements of the city's urban grids became sites of her artistic investigation. In preparing for this exhibition, Chetnaa reflects on how the emphasis on structure and form came into her work during a crucial time of personal turmoil. The geometrical grid, for instance, offered her a sense of clarity and a renewed relationship with time. Echoing these personal trajectories sabr | صبر presents large-scale drawings, sculptures, textile works, and the artist's signature grids. They invite the viewers to respond to forms beyond their meaning, guiding them to a sensorium between balance and ethereality, patience and geometry.
