'Misbehaviour of Form' by Roshan Chhabria

'A Misbehaviour of Form' brings together two intersecting threads in Roshan Chabbria’s practice: the narrative and the formal. For Roshan, everyday interactions filter through drawing, conjuring a world shaped by contradiction, and a sensitivity to the Indian middle-class and social codes that shape behaviour. This attentiveness emerges from the artist’s early experiences in Vadodara, where he closely observed communities: their gestures, negotiations, and the subtle performances embedded within these exchanges.
