Seeing Through the Veil by Lakshman Rao Kotturu

Lakshman Rao Kotturu’s works explore the uneasy dynamics of human relationships, marked by power and avarice. Everyday objects are undercut by razor-sharp edges, exposing the double-edged nature of social interactions. The artist's preoccupation with the animal world remains, but he shifts focus to the battlefield, sculpting knights, weapons and garments as signifiers of conflict.
Seeing Through the Veil reveals a tension between concealment and revelation, where intentions are obscured, but gradually revealed upon closer inspection. Operating in shades of grey, Kotturu blurs the line between perpetrator and protector.
